The Very Hungry Caterpillar turned 40 on Friday! The Swine Flu! I have to say, I’m not super freaked out about this. Should I be? I realize that the Flu has been a major killer in the past. But things are different now. Right? Specter switches. Have to seen this yet? Awesome!!! This, however, is not awesome. Not in the least.
This is going to be a quick post because it’s dinnertime and I’m hungry. I made these produce baggies on Saturday using the tutorial at Craftystylish. I’ve been getting tired of using the wasteful plastic bags for my produce and have been thinking about ways I can reduce using these. And then I found this tutorial! I can’t even remember who pointed me there, but if one of you reading this did, thank you! They were very cheap and easy to make and they do the job.

I feel like I am very boring. I get up at 5:30 am, like an old person does. I go to bed at 9:00 at night. Sometimes I am so tired I go to bed at 8:30. It’s kind of embarrassing. I wish I was the kind of person who could stay up late into the night, writing or doing art. But, sadly, I’m not. Working full time has turned me into a routine oriented grandmother. Monday marked the 10th anniversary of the Columbine shootings. Amazing AND yummy. It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Oh good! I always really liked Gavin Newsom. I hope he wins.
