oh yeah, we think about it all the time. I think we will eventually moveback there. It ended up being too expensive to live there so we'll have tobe making more money when we do move back.

I went through the whole dark, dreary, frozen for months thing in Alaska so Spokane wasn't so bad, but I have to agree, even though I loved the area and the people I met there, I won't be going back. haha I'm definitely up for more moderate climes these days. Bright, cheery colors will help. I also had quite a few plants in my apt and always used lights for them and I think that made the biggest difference for me. Nothing like a blooming houseplant when it's -40 outside. =) Can you believe that the constant sunshine and clear blue skies got on my nerves in AZ though? haha I need a variety of weather to be happy, I suppose. Have you guys ever thought of moving back to Santa Cruz?

I am sorry you're feeling so blue. What we did to brighten up our living-room was to paint the walls a bright and sunny shade of yellow, so even on the bleakest day it still feels warm and cosy.Happy knitting from a Dutch knitter
