  • One Halloween when I was around 9 years old instead of Trick-or-Treating my mom decided to throw a Halloween party for all of the neighborhood kids. My little brother and I were friends with every kid in the neighborhood, so the party was huge. There were kids everywhere. My parents invited their friends over, too.…

  • There is a wall in an alley (in Seattle) which has become (in)famous because it is completely covered in wads of chewed-up gum. Gross.

  • I am in Seattle! I haven’t been here in more than 20 years and Raf has never been here. We arrived right when everything was shutting down for the evening though. Oh well. My thoughts are with my friends in the path of Hurricane Sandy. NYC does not look good right now. 😦

  • We went for a soggy walk today. My waterproof hiking jacket betrayed me. It just wasn’t able to handle Oregon Rain. The good news was that it was warm at least. I do love autumn here. The forest turns yellow and green, with bits of red thrown in. It is beautiful.
