I looked up from the viewfinder on my camera for a moment. The sun was low in the sky and the light was hitting the lupines with a violet glow. I wanted to capture this magnificent color during the Magic Hour. When I looked up I took a moment to just stand there and take it all in. The lupines seemed to glow and the colors were beautiful. I took a deep breath and I instantly relaxed when I took in the clean air at the top of the mountain. The cool evening air enveloped my body.
