I’ve read this before but listening to it was such a wonderful experience. Definately a class-act job of recording this book. There are several actors who play the parts of the various characters in the book.
The books, in my opinion get progressively bolder, and better, as they move through the trilogy. The first book feels like a fairy tale. It’s a great story, but the real plot of the epic is not revealed until the second book. In the second book it is revealed that war is being waged against The Authority or God. And it’s a good thing. The protagonists are the ones chosen to begin this war.
The last few pages of the book are the best. So well written and beautifully executed. I don’t want to give anything away by telling you what happens.
