I was surfing Amazon for some children’s picture books to add to my collection and I happened upon this title. Whaaaa? I am rendered speechless. It’s bad enough that we have the brainwashed, kool-aid drinking adults, now they are trying to brainwash our kids?
For the record, I would never, ever read an anti- conservative book to a child, either. I think the better approach would be to show them a reference book that explained both parties and what they believe in. I really don’t think children need to be exposed to any Anti-anything books. This title does nothing but plant a seed of discrimination inside these young children’s minds. I think it’s despicable and the author should be ashamed of herself.
Oh, and before anyone even says this, I do have a sense of humor. I can even laugh at liberals sometimes. Parody is hilarious! Equating liberals with monsters is NOT funny, however. Packaging your marginalizing neo-conservative ideology into a Children’s book is extremely unethical.

Very well put Monica. Very well put. I’m with you. You give your child both sides of the story and let them decide. Unfortunately a lot of parents in our society choose brainswashing over letting the child have an actual choice.

Which leads their kids to be less able to make decisions for themselves and makes them better followers for the radicals in the country. Most radical groups like the Republicans, the Klan, and Evangelicals try to attack children before the age of consent. Basically there is a point when a kid realize that people lie. Once they realize they are inherently more suspicious of anything that is said and are willing put critical thought into what they are told. Radicals seek to abuse that time to turn their kids into brain-dead drones of their hate ideology. That’s also why they work so hard to destroy the American education system, because they are afraid that their hard work to skew their efforts at programming their kids will be undone by exposure to facts.
