I was really shocked to read this post at Blogging Spokane. I did a little Google search and found some news articles about it:

Former Mayor James E. West, who opposed gay-rights bills but was recalled from office over an Internet gay sex scandal, died Saturday of complications from recent cancer surgery. He was 55.

Especially after reading this post on Brewer Burns just today. I feel like I’m in the twilight zone or something.

But then it just occured to me that Jennifer might have written it because West has been in the news the past couple of days since he was hospitalized. ..

Yeah, vacation will do that to you, make you feel like you are in the twilight zone when you get back.

But anyway, I do feel bad that Jim West died. I hope he rests in peace.
