You go Senator Kerry:

“I’m sick and tired of these despicable Republican attacks that always seem to come from those who never can be found to serve in war, but love to attack those who did,” Kerry said. “I’m not going to be lectured by a stuffed suit White House mouthpiece standing behind a podium, or doughy Rush Limbaugh, who no doubt today will take a break from belittling Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s disease to start lying about me just as they have lied about Iraq. It disgusts me.”

It’s about time Democrats fight back! Yeah!

I just kind of found out about this story right now as I am glancing over the headlines. I guess the right-wing nut jobs are distorting Kerry’s statements and making a federal case about it as a last-ditch effort to try and win the elections. I’m so glad Kerry is not standing for it!

Hope it is and was fun!

I’m working tonight. Bah humbug. Yeah, I’m feeling a little bitter about it.

I usually love Halloween. I love to decorate the house. Raf and I have a little tradition of going, well, up the coast to a pumpkin patch on the ocean and then coming home and carving our pumpkins all fancily. Unfortunately, we can’t do our little “up the coast” drive anymore (since we don’t live anywhere near the coast). There is a nice little farming community here called Greenbluff that we should have checked out but we just didn’t make it up there.  We thought we might make it up there this past weekend but then Raf reminded me that he sprained his wrist (yes, from Unicycling) and didn’t think he would be able to carve a pumkin.

Oh well.

So, in short, hope you and yours are having fun!
