  • light at the end of the tunnel?

    I got the message from Raf at 5:00 (after my big “staff day” event all day). we have set a time to close on the house. Tommorrow morning at 8:00 AM. YAY! It looks like we will be able to get the key before the weekend. Yay!

    We just got back from getting our Washington Driver’s licenses. that’s one more thing to scratch off of our list of things to do. I can’t believe it took us this long to do this! I thought we were going to need to take the knowledge test, but we didn’t. It was actually very easy.…

    We have been inspired by the movie Rent (which we just watched the other night for the first time) to write a musical based on our house buying nightmare. We already have a name for it. It’s called “A Good Clean House.” and we also have the beginings of some songs. We’ve been cracking ourselves…
