The big news today are the Iowa caucuses. It doesn’t seem possible that we are here already! 2004 seems like yesterday. Remember Howard Dean? What an exciting and hopeful time that was!

I find this time around to be pretty exciting, too. I really like all of the candidates (of course we’re talking democrats here). I like Obama. I’ve liked him since I first heard him at the ’04 Democratic convention. Edwards is great, too. I’ve heard some really good arguments for an Edwards/Obama run. I like Clinton. But I think she may be too much of a lightening rod. I don’t know.

Lots to think about! The good news is that the current regime is almost over!
