Today was filled with all sorts of adventures! It started out terribly though. I woke in the middle of the night with a migraine and no ibuprofen. Raf went out at 3 am to find a pharmacy open but no such luck. I had to suffer through it all night. I think it was the worst pain I have ever endured. Whenever I’ve had a migraine I have caught it early enough with medicine so I have never experienced how incredibly painful they can be. Until now. I will ALWAYS bring it with me forevermore.

When the stores opened Raf bought me some and it worked it’s magic in ten minutes and I was off and running. We started with Nortre Dame. We toured the inside of the church and then climbed the bajillion steps to the top of the tower. The view was AMAZING. I snapped some photos of gargoyles.

We then gave ourselves a quick lesson on how to use the Metro, then we used it to go to Montmarte. We took a walking tour featured in our travel book. It was the highlight of our trip so far.

I am super exhausted and still trying to recover from not feeling well this morning, so I’ll cut it short for now.
