Eiffel Tower

Photography, Travel and Other Adventures

Continuing the b&w Hipstamtic theme I’ve got going on: here is a photo of the Eiffel Tower. Today we went to the very tippy top of the Eiffel Tower. I was really worried that my fear of heights would prevent me from this but I was totally fine. It wasn’t scary at all. We took the elevator all the way, as opposed to climbing the stairs. My legs are still tired from climbing the spiral staircase of Nortre Dame yesterday!

After the Eiffel Tower we went to the Musée d’Orsay. It was a nicer museum experience. Less people today and easier to wander slowly through and study the paintings. It was mind-blowingly awesome to see some of my favorite paintings in the flesh, to see the brush strokes and everything.

I am sad that tomorrow is my last day here. I want to stay longer. I love it here. The culture, the people, the scenery, the history, everything. There is so much to take in!

My posts here are less detailed than I was planning. Part of it is that I am either too exhausted to write or on the go. Also, it is hard to write about something you are right in the middle of. Paris deserves more reflection, so I will write some more reflective posts when I am home.
