    I spent all day on Tuesday at the Seattle Central Library for a workshop. I’d never been there before.  I heard so many things about it and was looking forward to seeing it myself.   • Gum Wall

    There is a wall in an alley (in Seattle) which has become (in)famous because it is completely covered in wads of chewed-up gum. Gross.

  • Seattle

    I am in Seattle! I haven’t been here in more than 20 years and Raf has never been here. We arrived right when everything was shutting down for the evening though. Oh well. My thoughts are with my friends in the path of Hurricane Sandy. NYC does not look good right now. 😦

  • The forest in autumn

    We went for a soggy walk today. My waterproof hiking jacket betrayed me. It just wasn’t able to handle Oregon Rain. The good news was that it was warm at least. I do love autumn here. The forest turns yellow and green, with bits of red thrown in. It is beautiful.
