Here is one that I kind of dig for various reasons. It just makes me wonder what the story is here. Where are they? What was Merlin’s Magic Shop? What is with the alpine architecture? What is the couple talking about?

Here we have another found negative. This time slide film. I am not sure what kind of film was used – it doesn’t say anywhere on the frame. The frame does say that it was processed at Identicolor Laboratory in N. Hollywood, California. The date is very faintly pressed into the slide frame and I can only identify the year: 1967.

here is one my friend Lacey sent me. It is a large format negative. In the note she says that it is a 1950s San Francisco negative by Dick Mercer.

I think the most interesting thing about this found object is that is was obviously ripped apart in anger and thrown to the ground. I would love to know the back story. Makes me want to write a back story, just for fun…
Things found in books
RandomWhile moving we handled eleventy-billion books and in the process found all sorts of interesting things inside of them. At the end of the day I arranged them and took a photo. Here is a gallery of some of the things we found. I am thinking about making this a regular thing on my blog. It’s kinda fun.
