  • The forest in autumn

    We went for a soggy walk today. My waterproof hiking jacket betrayed me. It just wasn’t able to handle Oregon Rain. The good news was that it was warm at least. I do love autumn here. The forest turns yellow and green, with bits of red thrown in. It is beautiful.

  • Halloween!

    Tomorrow is the Trick Or Treat Trail in my town. I am so sad because I can’t participate this year. I will be in a workshop all day.

  • Lazy Sunday

    Not much going on this weekend. It’s been a lazy day, which I am enjoying. He is a photo I took this morning on my run, edited with Snapseed’s Grunge filter.

  • Cherryville Cemetary

    I wanted to show my mom the work that has been done here since the last time she visited. She was impressed!

  • Ramona Falls

    Monday is our hiking day and Fall is the hiking season! We have had fantastic weather for it lately. Today we hiked to Ramona Falls on Mt Hood. It is a mellow 7 mile hike that features beautiful views of the mountain. The hike goes along the Sandy river, which is really interesting. The river…
