Today is the official commencement of the first annual Lord of the Rings, Extended Version, maration. I have just finished the Fellowship of the Ring, now it’s on to the Two Towers. Above is a pic of the sculpture that came with the gift set.

I took this on my walk today around campus. There are hundreds of roses planted on campus, I think they are all different varieties. This time of year it’s hard to find one that has a bloom on it.
