This is interesting….The Vetran who signed the affidivat, accusing Kerry of not deserving his Silver Star, has retracted his statement, saying it was the wrong thing for him to do.
I wonder if Kerry can sue this group for libel?

Probably could, but the point is that the sound bite has been delivered. Neo-cons will be repeating it in debates and conversations until the election and probably afterwards. It’s become the new norm, tell the most outlandish tale you can imagine to discredit them. Then you say you were wrong real quietly to make sure you don’t end up out of business. This is the same technique Team Bush used on McCain during the 2000 election. And I’m still hearing claims pouring out of certain neo-cons mouths that were lies rolled out against McCain with no evidence to support them. And when McCain came out against the lies against Kerry, they brought them right back up. It’s disgusting how low life the neo-cons can be when they are willing to do anything to win.

If you really want to be disgusted, you should go watch their commerical against Kerry. The commerical has very few references to any actual wrong doing of any form except Kerry not being a good American because he protested the war. I mean this is so obviously staged and organized by the Republican party, you can’t even take this front group seriously as a seperate entity.

Mandrake: I just watched the video. I am totally disgusted. Your right about them not really having anything substantial to say. They don’t give us any reason why they feel this way or what he did exactly in vietnam that would cause them to say he is lying. Another thing that is weird about it is that they just repeat the same things over and over. it’s as if they are trying to brainwash thier viewers or something.
