Guardian Unlimited | Special reports | How Bush’s grandfather helped Hitler’s rise to power

His business dealings, which continued until his company’s assets were seized in 1942 under the Trading with the Enemy Act, has led more than 60 years later to a civil action for damages being brought in Germany against the Bush family by two former slave labourers at Auschwitz and to a hum of pre-election controversy.

The evidence has also prompted one former US Nazi war crimes prosecutor to argue that the late senator’s action should have been grounds for prosecution for giving aid and comfort to the enemy.

This is a fascinating article. Apparently, two Halocaust survivors are planning on suing the Bush family for damages since Prescott Bush was in business with some German companies that backed Nazi Germany. The article also says that Grandaddy Bush made most of the family fortune this way.

The reasons for not voting for Bush keep piling up. It’s embarrassing to have a president whose family has a connection to Nazi Germany.

This is old news for people that have checked out any of the many sites about it. It’s nice to see it getting some mainstream press though. Finally.

The entire Bush family has a long history of these types of crimes and most people don’t know about it because any documentaries or books about it are never seen by the masses here in the US. Thank God for the internet.

Amber, thanx for the link..Notice that it’s the Gaurdian UK who is reporting this…I guess the American Media doesn’t care that our president’s grandfather had close ties to Nazi Germany. 😡
