The Democratic National Committee planned to file a complaint with the Federal Election Commission on Tuesday contending that Sinclair’s airing of the film should be considered an illegal in-kind contribution to President Bush’s campaign. Also, 18 Democratic senators sent a letter to the Federal Communication Commission asking that it investigate whether Sinclair’s plan was an improper use of public airwaves.
Good for the DNC! I swear to God. I am sooooooo f-ing sick of republicans right now. Actually, I should say I am sick of, as Janine Garofalo calls them, the “taliban” faction of the republican party. I know there are repubs out there that aren’t evil. I just wish they would speak out a little bit louder. I can’t wait for Kerry to just win this election already so we can put the neo-cons in thier place.
I can’t stress enough the importance of boycotting this. Somebody named Outraged posted a comment on this site this morning calling for a boycot and there is a link. Go there and write to your local paper. Let’s tell these damn neo-cons who’s boss!
