t r u t h o u t – Nationwide Voting Errors Tallied, More than 30,000 Complaints Lodged

The events of the last month in the United States and the Ukraine are a study in electoral duality. In the Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets to protest that nation’s questionable election, and today, the Ukraine Parliament brought down the government in a no-confidence vote over the election. Here in America, over 30,000 reports of electoral irregularities, combined with deeply disturbing reports of the ease with which electronic vote tallies can be tampered with, have led to little more than silence from the mainstream media and the national political establishment. When the greatest democracy in the history of the world is shamed by a former territory of the Soviet Union over the basic issue of the vote, something is indeed out of joint. – wrp

This is very interesting…Why aren’t we taking it to the streets? Why didn’t we in 2000? Because we have become a nation of complacent people. We don’t care, apparently.
