Feed by M.T. Anderson

Books, Music, Art, Movies

FeedI’m listening to an excellent book at the moment called Feed by MT Anderson. It takes place in the future and is narrated by a teenager who comes from an upper-middle class background. In the future, people are connected to “the feed,” which is kind of a hyped-up morphing of the internet and television. The feed is implanted inside you brain, however, and it becomes a part of your limbic system. It’s basically a biting satire of what our consumeristic society will become if we continue placing value on material things.

Of course I love it so far. I think I loved it two sentences in. The reader of the audible version is excellent and I think listening to this book is the way to go, rather than reading it. I will write more about it when I am done listening to it.
