The leaves are in full color now and it is cold. Really cold. So cold that my iPod’s battery was completely depleted on my walk to work.

Beautiful picture. Second time I went to Spokane to visit my husband who moved there before me was this time, end of October. Mike had told me about the beautiful Autumn colors and sunshine, I was looking forward to it. I got there late in the evening and couldn’t see much. Next morning I woke up very early due to jet lag, walked to the kitchen, I was starving, looked outside the kitchen window and the world (including the trees) were covered in snow. Everything was white and it was still coming down. Mike meant to show me the best side of Spokane and he was so disappointed, we still laugh about it.
