Scene: Man in an American flag bandana pulls up on a Harley.

Him: Hey babe, wanna go to the bar, get some cocktails this morning?

Her: No.

Him: Wanna go to my place, watch me build some stuff?

Her: No.

    Pragmatic, if nothing else. I was wincing in expectation of something a little more rude.

      yeah, the intention is nice and at least heartfelt. I mean, he wanted to spend time with her. That’s something, I guess. 🙂

    “get some cocktails this morning?”.. No wonder she declined! Had he said “tonight” he might have had better chances..:-)

        Yeah, but the whole scene you described is wonderful. Feels just like a movie, seen with European eyes 🙂
