June Postcard Swap

The June Postcard Swap is LIVE! And I don’t have very many people signed up yet. So if you like getting interesting mail, sign yo-self up! It’s been a fun way to connect with other photographers by sharing actual prints of our work.

Digital and film photography welcome! We don’t discriminate here. Join us! It’s fun! And please share this with your friends! You have until the 15th to sign up.

The featured image in this post is the postcard I received this month from Carter Mahnke. I met Carter a few months ago via this postcard swap! And I’ve since been enjoying his Instagram and Flickr feeds. Check out more of his work on his website.

          I think I accidentally broke the RC processor at Newspace the last time I was there am am afraid to go back….

    Where does one find decent postcard stock? I’m located in southeast Missouri. I would have to go ink jet, as I do not have a wet darkroom for printing.

      Hi there! I use regular prints and then buy postcard backing to stick on the back. It gives them extra stability for mailing. Some people send the photo without the backing though, and it seems to work fine. You can purchase the postcard backing here: http://www.the2buds.com/suph2pc.htm

        Thanks for the info! In theory I have signed up. Hard to tell with the iPad on some internet forms.
