Last week at this time it was cool and rainy. Today it feels like the sun is trying to kill us. almost a hundred degrees outside. And there are people out there running Hood To Coast today! I’ve got to give them so much credit for being out there in this heat.
The town that I live in is on the route and it’s always so inspiring each year to see them run through town. I kind of want to participate sometime, though with each passing year that ship might sail. I’m not as athletic as I used to be!
I browsed through my archives to see if I could find a photo that reflected the day. Here is a proper sun flare shot I took with my Terrapin Ace pinhole camera, 3d printed by my friend Todd Schlemmer. I took this during the pandemic at the Rogue Brewery location in Astoria, Oregon.
