Foolish gibberish

  • AboutI am also known as CraftyMoni elsewhere on the web. I am a Children’s Librarian. I am a photographer. I am a knitter. I am a reader. I am a wannabe poet. I blog. Sometimes I complain. I like to swear. I have a really twisted sense of humor. I think I might be a Zen Buddhist (Still trying to decide). Not a fan of organized religion. I am very liberal and can be vocal about it at times. I’m a daydreamer. Sometimes sassy. I try to be compassionate. I think I’m pretty nice most of the time. You can delve into deeper waters by reading these posts. You can see my photography on my Flickr page. If you like any photos you see there or on this site and would like to buy a print let me know. I would be happy to sell one to you! I blather about library stuff on  Twitter. You will also find me on Google+ and Facebook. Enjoy your visit!

Larger UPS package vehicles custom made by Gru...
    Image via Wikipedia

The new car survived a drive over the hill in the rain! I was stuck in traffic for 1 1/2 hours and it totally sucked. but it was nice to be in a new car, at least.

I got my new computer last night. It was kind of interesting. I went online to check the status of the order and noticed that it was actually on its way to my house! So I called R up and told him to stay home until it was delivered. He waited and waited and finally he had to get out of the house. So when he left for a few minutes that’s when the UPS guy came by. It was so irritating. So I had to go through this song and dance to, first of all, talk to a human being. Then I had to talk to someone from the pickup place in Santa Cruz. As it turned out, I had to meet the driver at the UPS garage when he was done for the day, 8:00 to pick up my package. so I go over there and there were all of these guys clocking out and I had to find a UPS driver that wasn’t actually clocked out so that he could officially hand me my package and that I signed for it. It was quite the ordeal.

My computer is really nice. The screen is huge. It’s a little bit heavy. I’ve been trying to get all of my old programs on it. Norton Systemworks is giving me problems. I had install it and uninstall it three times. I don’t even know if it is fully installed because I had to leave for work before I could re-boot.

I am sooo looking forward to my new computer coming. I ordered a new laptop and it should be almost on its way! Yay! I bought a built in wireless networking thingy so that I can use the wireless network here at work. It is going to be so great.

I am also looking for new cars to buy. I think I might just buy a new Toyota Corolla. They are so boring but they are reliable. So I guess I need to go with reliable.

R- and I took a drive up the coast yesterday. It was so rejuvenating. We went to one of our favorite beaches. I don’t know the name of the beach but it is very beautiful. There are lots of rocks jutting up from the ocean. Yesterday the waves were huge! Driving home I felt so full of energy and hope. I felt like I don’t ever want to leave this place. I love living here. As expensive it is and hard to get by, it is so beautiful.
