Foolish gibberish

I am very honored to be participating in a photography show with some of my friends and fellow pinhole photographers. The show is called “Slowing The Selfie” and it will feature pinhole self portraits. The show will be up in May and June and it will take place at VALA Eastside in Redmond, WA.
If you are in the Seattle area check it out! There will be an artist’s reception on May 6th, which I will be attending, so do stop by if you are in the area. Here is more information from the Facebook event page:

Only a few days left to sign up for the April Postcard exchange! The last day to sign up is April 15th.
We are exchanging original prints of our photography, either printed in a darkroom, by a lab, or inkjet printed. To sign up, fill out the form below. You will be assigned someone to send your postcard to on the 15th, and you will receive a postcard from someone as well. Digital and film photography both welcome!

Yesterday I met up with some pinhole photography buddies in Centralia, WA. Half of us came from Portland and the other half Seattle. Centralia is a good halfway point for our group. We ended up at an abandoned slaughterhouse. It was a fun place to shoot and I hope to go back! Here are a few iPhone snaps.

Unfortunately my pinhole shots probably did not come out. I realized too late I was metering for paper and a different camera on my Pinhole Assist app. 😦

Having been very inspired by doing detailed drawings on the kitchen, I decided that I would focus in on detailed drawings of things on the counter, so I started a little series. It’s ongoing. Here is one I drew a few weeks ago. Still don’t have a clue about how to use watercolor paint, but I’m having fun.
