At work we had a “Decorate a door” contest for Christmas. My office mate and I decorated my door together. I thought we were all clever because we had this Christmas book theme and we put up little cutouts of books with titles of Christmas books that we have in the library, call numbers included. Well, we got third Prize. Judy got first prize. She blew us all out of the water. She’s very creative and crafty.

Wow! You both did a fantastic job! It’s just really cute!!! If that was 3rd prize I can’t imagine what 1st looked like. Santa is really cute too. Is he made of papier mache or is he a soft cloth type material?

Hi Etherealfire! I think the Santa is Paper mache…It wasn’t made specifically for the contest. It was just utilized to add some (more) christmas cheer 🙂 .

Hi! Moni! Just wanted to let you know that they’re bringing the contest back this year and they’ve opened it to all of IS. I still have the Santa windsock, but since my workspace is completely different and I’m completely stumped!
