Yahoo! News – Some Miss. Libraries Ban Jon Stewart Book

“I’ve been a librarian for 40 years and this is the only book I’ve objected to so strongly that I wouldn’t allow it to circulate,” said Robert Willits, director of the Jackson-George Regional Library System of eight libraries in Jackson and George counties.

This is disgraceful to the field of library and information science. This man should not be a librarian. You don’t ban books when you are a librarian. You encourage the free flow of information. You abhor the banning of books. Mr. Willits should find a different field.

F**k bob willits and walmart for banning and speaking out against this satirical look at the state of our Country. Not only are they trying to take away our first amendment rights, they are also trying to dissolve our sense of humor. Its not surprising I guess that this asshole is from Mississippi…A state full of right wing wackos!!!!
And now a personal message to Robert Willits…”F**k Off And Die You Nazi Scumbag”!!
    MOSH!!!

The first amendment does not entitle one to a taxpayer-supported avenue of expression.

Well, john, that might be the case, but here’s a quote that I think sums up the whole concept of the public library, and that every public librarian should adhere to: “A truly great library contains something in it to offend everyone” – Jo Godwin.
