Well, apparently the Jim West story is breaking wide open in Spokane. I talked to my family about it and they are pissed. Big Brass Blog is covering the story in detail. The sad thing about this, as Christie says, is that it that really stupid people are going to continue to lump being a pedophile in with being gay, which, as we in the reality based community know without having to be told, is utter crap. JJ quotes West on his thoughts about being gay:

“I’m being destroyed because I am a gay man, which is fine. I’ve been in public life, I can accept that. Because I am a gay man, because of this double life, it has been hell.”

No, you worthless piece of crap, you are being destroyed because YOU ARE A PEDOPHILE! Being Gay has NOTHING to do with it. There are plenty of gay people in politcs and they have not been destroyed. You are rightly being destroyed because you are a sick, sick man who sexually abuses children.

I hope that he is fully prosecuted.
