Good for them.

The family of Melinda Duckett, a Florida woman who shot herself to death after being forcefully questioned by CNN’s Nancy Grace about her son’s disappearance, sued the network and the Headline News host on Tuesday, claiming they bear responsibility for her death.

I hope she is sued for every dime she’s worth and then dissappears into oblivion.

Have I ever mentioned how much I hate Nancy Grace? Oh I have? Okay.

Oh God I hate Nancy Grace so much. And she drove that poor woman to her death. I hope she loses all her money, and before she fades away, her bad dye job does and we get to see her horns show through her stringy grey hair.

I think it’s really interesting that some people consider Nancy Grace to be a “real journalist.” She was a bad lawyer with an axe to grind who: lied to the Court, withheld exculpatory evidence from the defense, disregarded civil rights and lied to juries. As a lawyer and a prosecutor she had a duty to be honest to the Court, honest to the jury, and make fair, reasoned decisions with regards to criminal cases that came across her desk. She failed to fulfill all of these duties.

Now she’s on TV because some network executive made the decision to give her a platform from which she can be as nasty and narrow minded as she wants to be. Why would anyone want to watch that?
