My last post was really rather bitchy. And I apologize. Actually, as I am learning more and more about it, it does seem like this windstorm is a bigger deal than I previously thought. The Western side of Washington and Oregon really are getting the brunt of the storm. Spokane’s situation really pales in comparison. There has been quite a bit of damage to homes and cars here, though. On my own house, the force of the wind was so strong it blew apart our fence! I think my husband has fixed it, otherwise I would show you a picture.

The Evening News led with the Northwest Storm tonight. I told my wife that I’d read on your site this morning about the storm out there…and it sounded bad. Saw pix on the news. Yikes! Stay in and stay warm.

I kept seeing reports about the weather up there and every time I thought about your first post. Being in SoCal, they tend to blow ANY weather out of proportion, so don’t worry about it. It’s suppose to rain tomorrow, so I’m preparing for STORM WATCH 2006.

I think we can all forgive you, a lack of caffeine can make anyone get a little snarky. It was kind of strange Dianne told me about the storm and we were worried about you kids. Then I saw your post and had to snicker, other than a lack of caffeine you were fine.

don’t worry about being snarky. We all are sometimes.
My parents and sister are still without power. And probably will remain so for the time being. They live far enough out in the sticks that they are always the last people to have power restored (and that’s why I live in the city.)
