Snow! and LOTS of it

1-20-we-got-snow

We got some SNOW last night. Seriously. We got LOTS of snow. I tried to take pictures that could capture the amount of snow we got but I don’t know if I did. It was so deep that when I walked down the path to the garage (which I am so happy to have, btw) it was shin deep. And my husband shoveled yesterday. So that is how much we got last night! We got at least a foot. It’s so pretty! I wish I would have grabbed my camera on my way out the door because the snow in the trees on my way to work was a beautiful sight! and it’s the fun kind of snow, too. I wanted to make snow angels in my back yard because it’s all deep and powdery and soft.

    As sick as I am of winter already, that really is a beautiful photo and I can imagine how fun it would be to have a big pile of it! We get a few inches that turn quickly into ice and we’re screwed. heh heh.

    That’s how our winter has been, too! so it’s really fun to have snow that looks beautiful :).

    It looks lovely!

    I’m actually at the point here where I don’t mind the few inches we’ve been getting every week, because at least it covers up the nasty brown/black ice mountains that are everywhere.

    I made a snowman that day, it was fun. The dogs helped me. Sam made a snow angel in the snow. I haven’t made a snowman in years.
