MittensUgh! Another Crafty Monday post on a Tuesday. I’ve had a weekend. But don’t want to write about that right now. Right now I want to show you the mittens I knitted. They took me kind of forever to knit (for mittens anyway). They are the Pink Sonata mittens from the Fall 2008 issue of Vogue Knitting. I took them out for a test drive this weekend and I love them! The mitten top comes off very conveniently when I need to get something out of my purse. They keep my hands nice and toasty.

I used some Lorna’s Laces in a really pretty chocolately brown colorway and some KnitPicks Bare dyed with pink Kool-aid a few years ago.

Nothing else to say about that, except I love the way Corrugated Ribbing looks. Here is my Ravelry page for more info.

Finally finished with the mittens

As I mentioned, there was some family drama this weekend. Those of you who follow me on Twitter already know the story but for those who don’t, I’ll fill you in tomorrow or later this week.
