Crosstown Trail

Travel and Other Adventures

We tried out a new trail today. The Crosstown Trail up above Government Camp (near the top of Mt. Hood). It was a one-way trail, three miles. Which meant that we walked six miles. It’s used for snowshoeing or cross-country skiing in winter and reminded me that I really need to get into some winter sports this year!

This is clearly a trail for the mountain bikers. In fact, I had been thinking it really weird that I hadn’t come across mountain bikers on our hikes in Oregon. We did on this trail! I feel like we may have imposed on their territory, maybe?

Here are some pictures of our day. Enjoy!
