Tri-x

Finally, after getting the color film out of the way, I tried the Tri-x. As you might recall, I had a mishap with this film in my 35mm camera. I ended up making a mistake with the 120 roll, as well. I metered the entire roll of film at the wrong ISO. SIGH.

However, when I got the film back it looked fine.

I took these shots around the Mt. Hood area.

I love this film. I can’t wait to see what it looks like when I actually use it correctly.

Pictures look great! Love the end of the line pic. Did you purchase a light meter yet? Are you using the built-in meter on your camera? How are you choosing exposure? Your color and B&W pictures look really great so far. Let’s see more!

Thank you!! For the Portra shots I used an iPhone light meter app. For the Ektar and Tri-x shots I used the on-camera light meter. I would like to invest in a good light meter at some point soon.

I am having a blast with this camera! I am shooting up a storm 🙂

one of the reasons tri-x and portra are both great is they have incredible exposure latitude so mistakes like that don’t ruin a roll. Great shots, Monica.
