I think I have decided that my “resolution” is to not commit to an everyday “challenge.” I have been involved in these types of things for several years and they have served me well in the past. Now I want to focus on those few things that I know are important to me. I am tired of imposing rules on myself. I want to enjoy the things I enjoy.

The daily things are a good spur, but to live by them daily seems very machine like. I subscribe to them and will do the ones that pique my interest. And like you say, there are more important things rattling around in our brains that need to be addressed.

Amen. That is exactly how I feel too. Sometimes I pen myself in with these kinds of commitments and then they become a chore.

I did a schedule once, even did a page. To restrictive, I ended up doing things like “Wandering Wednesday” Friday edition. LOL. Went back to freehand quite quickly.
