In my closet, the
Feathered boa sits like a
Tin god waiting for it’s fabulous moment.
Day two assignment of the Poetry 201 class was to write an acrostic poem about a gift, also using a simile. This was quite challenging. Also: I do not own a feathered boa, nor has anyone ever given me one. I just couldn’t think of anything else to write.

I did own a feather boa, and this was it’s sad life.
Really enjoyed it. Loved the use of the simile.
Thank you! So glad you like it! 🙂
