Forest Girl – A Limerick

Poetry

Forest Girl

There once was a girl from Orygun
Whose head would at times come undone.
Then a hollow container
Made her a light painter
And now she always has fun.

Geeky Bits:
Camera: Zero 4×5 (24mm configuation)
Film: Illford Delta 100
Exposure time: 10 minutes

Today’s Poetry 201 assignment was a Limerick about something imperfect using enjambment. This was a hard assignment. I’ve never written a Limerick before – and it was harder than I imagined it would be. I also wanted to make it work with my photo for the day, which was a challenge. I just wasn’t able to manage the enjambment part. I may rework it at a later time, just for the challenge.
