Today we left the city and drove to the countryside where we visited the site of a medieval town. We took a tour of a castle and climbed around on ruins that are hundreds (notice that is plural) of years old. It’s hard for me to wrap my head around the age of these structures having grown up in the Pacific Northwest where we don’t have this at all. It is a beautiful place.
