This is the week of Mountain Festival in Sandy. It is kicked off with a parade on Thursday night of Mountain Festival week. I’ve lived here for 7 years and I only started attending the parade 3 years ago. The first year I moved here I walked in the parade with the library but the library decided to stop marching in the parade after that year.
It’s kind of a dorky parade but it’s also really fun. It’s very small town, which I love. The locals put out their chairs days in advance in order to save their seats, which is kind of quirky but also sweet.
Here is a pinhole photo I took last year. Pinhole and parades don’t really go well together but I still try every year. I did this year, as well. 🙂
