I mentioned a few posts ago that one of the traditions that we have for our meetups on Pinholeday is to swap a roll of film with one of our friends for a film swap. This year I chose Jeff’s roll. I made my exposures, unwittingly, at the Chinese Garden when I was on a pinhole adventure with my friend Donna. I love how they came out though!

I’m always up for a film swap. Let me know if you are interested!
Two years ago when I visited Amsterdam to meet up with my Pinhole Obscura buddies on Pinholeday, we had a plan to bring along a roll of film to swap. Inge got the roll I brought. This past Pinholeday weekend, in Barcelona, she decided to re-shoot the roll! Here are the wonderful results!

I am very behind on posting photography related things! I am going to try to catch up in the next couple of weeks. I have been going through a developing and scanning frenzy lately, which helps!
Sometime toward the end of last year I did a film swap with my buddy and fellow pinhole photography enthusiast, Hank. You may know him as Espressobuzz on the intertubes.
I shot my photos around Sandy and at a secret waterfall location. And he shot his in Seattle, redscaling beforehand. Here are a few of my favorites. You can see more here. I am working my way through some rolls that he sent me so watch this space for more in the future!
You can read his post about this on 52 rolls here. Go visit his fantastic Flickr stream here.
A while back I was matched up with a partner in a Medium Format Film Film Swap group on Facebook. My partner was the fabulous pinhole photographer Inga Dinga. I’ve admired her work for some time so I was really excited to be matched up with her!
I shot my photos during my pinhole adventure to Oneonta Gorge with my Zero 2000, then I dropped it in the mail to Lithuania. I got the results back last week and I couldn’t be more pleased! They turned out really great! Inga had the brilliant idea to make triptychs out of them.
Tryptic No III – Amusement
Tryptic No. II – Herbarium
Tryptic No. I – Skyfall
You can see more from our swap here. And please stop and visit Inga’s Flickr stream for more of her amazing work!
Way back in March I did a film swap with an IG/Flickr buddy who goes by Malkavred. At the time he lived in Hawaii. We sent each other a roll and I happened to shoot the one he sent me on WPPD – which will account for some of the weird antics. But the effect of weird antics + Hawaiian landscape turned out really cool!
Here are some of my favorites from the swap.
Mt Hood on the beach
He dreams of the Jungle 1
He dreams of the jungle 2
The Cat and the Monkey
Film swaps are loads of fun. If you are interested in doing one with me I’d love it! Let me know in the comments!
