We made it here at around 1:00 pm on Sunday. Just got the internet connection yesterday and we got my computer hooked up to it today. The inlaws left this morning so now we can get ourselves unpacked and organized. We have lots of work to do.

I don’t even know what is going on in the world! I picked up a newspaper on Monday and found out that Peter Jennings died. I was really sad about that. He was the news anchor that I watched the day of Sept. 11.

I haven’t had much of a chance to take pictures, but I will take some today and post. I live near some gorgeous parks!

Glad you made it there ok! Hope you get unpacked and settled soon. I know what a pain that is.

I say leave it packed and blog. The country is falling apart in your absence. Someone has got to be backing me up against the evil Neo-con menace. 😉 Seriously take all the time you need. We’ve got them on the run now, everything they do just hurts them in the long run. You should probably touch base with the Cantwell people and see if you can’t start working on McGavick, not that you probably need to motivated to do that.

I had the same reaction with Peter jennings! I didn’t find out until a few days later and I’m so sad. He was my favorite anchor, hands down. Have fun unpacking…or blogging instead 🙂
