2005-2007 Jeep Liberty photographed in College...

I bought a car today! I am now a card-carrying member of the asshole, South Hill, SUVclass. Ugh! can you believe I did it? I feel a little guilty. I bought a Jeep Liberty. For some reason, I don’t really consider Jeeps SUVs. But maybe that’s just me trying to justify it. Oh well.

It’s 4×4 so it gets around really good in this snow and ice, which is what I wanted and needed. And we will be able to drive it up in the mountains this summer, as well.

Now I can exhale. I have a car again! yay!

Too bad, because your great governor just signed a B2 requirement for the Diesel in your state. I hope you got the V6, my mom got the V4 version and had trouble with the heat and air.

Good for you…like the boots, it’s the 4×4 is something that is necessary for the climate that your living in. Rain and snow are conditions that people need to take seriously when they’re driving. I’m glad that you found a vehicle that will keep you safe.

welcome to the jeep family! i have a wrangler and it is so good in the snow (though it sees more offroad mud action!)

also, i don’t classify jeeps as suv’s really either. anyway, they have been doing it since 1941, and it’s not a hummer!

Thanks guys! I do love it. It gets around in the snow like it’s nothing.

Mandrake, I should’ve bought a diesel! I just found out about this from your blog yesterday . I guess I need to read the paper.
