This is another one from Barcelona. This is a strange statue outside of the Palace of Catalan Music. It’s an optical illusion. When you walk around the structure it is actually flatter than it appears. For the life of me I can’t find any information on this, otherwise I’d link to it. I’m sure there is something written about it somewhere. My librarian super powers are eluding me at the moment.
Anyway, I really was trying to get a shot of the statue but the woman was sitting on it so I caught her too. I kind of liked the juxtaposition.

There is one at the Seattle Art Museum, Olympic Sculpture Park! I always feel like Charlton Heston on the beach, at the end of Planet of the Apes, when I see one!
